Former Buckeye DJ Carton got bailed out in a big way. I don’t think he would’ve even gotten a shot up if Trice had just kept moving his feet with his arms straight up.

Yes! This kind of narcissism and self importance from Izzo in what is basically a glorified AAU season is repulsive. Your dudes are better than their guys who cares about your lack of a friggin scouting report.

Y’know, I thought it seemed like something was goofy with the clock, but they never went back and looked at it to my knowledge. Carton was really loafing down the court like he thought he had more time. He got bailed out.

Not sure if this is actually the answer, but I think the overlay clock on tv was a few milliseconds ahead of the picture.

On the final tip in you can see the overlay clock clearly hits 0.00 before the basket, but the basket is clearly good with respect to the red buzzer on the backboard.

I loathe Wisconsin basketball thanks to Dick Bennett. I will never waver from this and I thoroughly enjoy every single time they lose.

I like that fandom doesn’t have to be logical or morally justified. Tom Izzo miraculously really could be an okay guy and I will still happily loathe him to my grave. Where else can I get away with such poor behavior?

It’s not just no accountability - he doesn’t need to accept blame, just don’t insult the kid like he sucks! Just say “that kid played a great game - he made it tough on us.”

Being gracious in victory is the EASIEST thing!
