I dislike OSU but they got totally robbed by the officials!!! That shot clock three was clearly good and then a few of the no calls that were clearly fouls just awful officiating. MSU is getting in now after the last two top 5 wins.
Plus that Duke win is going to end up being overvalued and give a boost.
I had the sound off, but wasnât it clearly out of his hand with 1 still on the clock?
Liddel was fouled even if you use the football rules. Oh well
What a miserable game. I definitely regret staying to the end
I really wish Holtmann wouldnât hold back in the PC. Heâs too smart, but I wish someone would let the refs in the conference have it.
There was no explanation given. The announcers thought it was good too.
Bizarre stuff
Well Quinn is going to be smugly satisfied on the podcast.
For everybody that complains about players taking jump shots as the last play of the game - remember that Washington drive. Refs tend to swallow their whistles in that spot.
Especially on the road.
Yup. Thatâs a foul in the first 59:30 of the game. The ref doesnât want to âdecideâ the outcome so he ignores someone getting smacked in the face and in fact, decides the outcome.
Iâm just glad that it wasnât Michigan getting jobbed there. Iâd be sleeping on the couch for a month and probably buying a new TV.
I obviously donât like OSU but I really feel for Holtmann and his players. But also Justin Ahrens is going to get skewered in film for not knowing how to make a layup.
That was really bad. It reminded me of last yearâs OSU-Michigan game in Ann Arbor where the officials were letting guys kill each other without fouls being called. I think MSU benefitted more than OSU tonight, but I also saw things like Liddell cracking Hauser in the jaw with an elbow on a post move without a call. I donât understand it. That didnât even resemble basketball at times.
Not the good ones.
Drac Izzo wonât come out in Crisler - weâll dominate - but I would not be shocked if the game in Breslin is similarly a sludgefest featuring a lot of sweet home cooking. Especially if weâve already clinched the title.
Liddell was doing a ton of iniating thatâs for sure. Looked like a shorter Garza at times.
Yup - youâre right â hadnât focused on the fact that they are that close to .500; not sure how that happened. IU vs. MSU on 3/2 may be a play in game for the tourney ⌠somehow I think I know how that one ends.
The last sentence of this post sums it up pretty well
Why would he be satisfied ?
If heâs conscious after being dunked on that hard by Chris Hunter a couple hours ago.
