Still convinced MSU ain’t good. But at least Izzo stopped being insane with his rotations so they aren’t flatly horrible. I LOVE the way we match up with them. Dickinson will dominate down low. None of their bigs will draw him out. Henry can shut down Wagner but that will do little to shut our team down. Loyer will be back playing 15 mins .

Henry has figured it out, he’s been really good for the last 6/7 games. The issues for MSU is literally anyone else showing up on a consistent basis. Langford and Watts (to a degree did tonight), and Hauser hit his limited shots. Now the question is can they keep doing it.

I’m gonna go with no. Also gonna assume teams don’t shoot ~50% from the line against them on 35 attempts.

Henry would be really fantastic as a second option. That just isn’t possible with the current roster

You have to come ready to play EVERY game. Illinois didn’t come ready to play tonight. And sometimes, it just gets outta hand and you cannot get it back!

Henry is a good player. Illinois tiny, itty bitty wings cannot match up with him. Michigan has big wings to make life much more difficult.

Agreed. Great win for them (and us), but part of this comes to Illinois shooting themselves in the foot (missed FTs, layups and dunks galore). Having to play a rested/pissed off OSU team 2 days after this physical game doesn’t bode well for them Thursday either.
