I know this is a poor effort by Illini but I think OSU is probably better than them and I certainly think M is better than them

…or last year. Teske was routinely left on an island. I think we’ll get our answer about whether we’ll double anyone right away against Garza.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d be curious to see how Hunter does 1 on 1 on him though. The main problem for him defensively is mobile centers. Kofi is a different situation though

MSU’s choice to play a cadre of bigs works in a game against a behemoth. If you have enough hyenas you can defeat the lion.

Probably but doubling Garza is worse idea than doing it against kofi because kofi is basically an Austin Davis level passer

OSU seems more consistent I guess? But I imagine Illinois would win in a series with them. They definitely have a higher ceiling, because their defense is way better

Doubling Garza is idiotic, doubling Kofi makes some sense. Iowa is loaded with shooters… Illinois… isn’t and Kofi doesn’t pass.

I still think Michigan is best served to play everything straight up and stick to its principles.

Thursday is the Iowa game… I’d say no chance U-M doubles against Iowa. Some chance against Illinois. That seems like the opposite of your post.
