Georgi with a trillion but for 3 fouls.
That really counts as a +1 in the win column for Illinois? Big Ten is just going to allow that?
It would be a Flagrant 1 foul, specificallyâŚ
Fouling a player clearly away from the ball who is not directly involved with the play, specifically designed to stop or keep the clock from starting;
Two shots for Kofi, and Illinois gets the ball.
I think if they run that goofy football play out of bounds though I am plowing I to Kofi to try and get to the inbound and risking that they call a common foul not a flagrant.
Canât remember the last time I was this salty about a non-Michigan game. Maybe OSU-Maryland in football where Maryland should have won on the 2pt conversion?
I thought we promised that this was a safe space?
Does anyone have a clip of that final shot? I canât find the lowlight anywhere.
Is the 5 star coming in related to the current PG?
Yes, heâs Trey McGowensâ younger brother.
Watching it several times live, and again with this replay⌠WTF was the plan with Teddy coming out there if the plan wasnât to give him the ball? Have to wonder if there were 2 guys wanting to be the hero, and McGowens was not going to let Teddy be that guy. Sheesh.
Iâm not sure a 5 star is gonna do too much for them with the rest of the roster in the condition itâs in. Heâs not some Uber recruit top 5 guy and it seems like the fringe 5 star type often doesnât do well in the role of â30% usage go-to scorer.â Obviously every case is different and weâll see. Now, if he stays for a couple of years then maybe he can lead a turnaround.
Itâs hard to tell. Especially when hands only go on heads on the bench with 2 seconds left. As if everything was going perfectly to plan before that.

Someone messed up big time right from the beginning. With >10 seconds left, Hoiberg is pointing at (and pretty much standing on) a spot on the floor where someone was supposed to be. Given his reaction in the final few seconds and the mask throw, Iâm guessing that more than one guy didnât do what he was supposed to do.
Hoiberg is a very good coach, but he needs actual talent on the floor. His current team is severely lacking. I donât think they have a single future NBA player on the court. His last team at Iowa State had the following future NBAersâŚNiang, Monte Morris, Matt Thomas, Naz Long, and Abdel Nader.
His roster right now is a bunch of guys that were either low rated recruits, had problems at other schools (Teddy Allen looking at you), or both. It isnât like he got highly thought of transfers that were looking to showcase for the NBA. If he can land a little more talent and snag some actual good transfers he could turn them around significantly. Until then, though, this roster is ugly.
Banton has NbA potential, but everyone else on the roster is a fringe power conference talent.
As for next year, Kobe King will be playing next year, right? Then a top 100 C and a JuCo transfer as wel. If Banton sticks around I think they could be seriously improved, although still not quite tourney level
College Gameday is hitting our B1G hot button questions.
Biggest threat to win it all:
LaPhonso Ellis - Michigan
Jay Bilas - OSU
Ranked team with the most questions:
Seth Greenberg - Wisconsin
Ellis - Iowa
Will the layoff help or hurt Michigan?
Bilas - I donât know. Michigan is legit, maybe not quite Gonzaga and Baylor level, but they will be right there. Just donât know if it will be right away off of the layoff or if they will take time to get back to that level
Greenberg - I think the upperclassmen will transition seemlessly off of the pause because of their maturity. I think the pause helps Dickinson reboot. Michigan is a Final Four team
Brief return of the OSU-UM sideline cam
No King ended up entering the G League Draft I think
