Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 1)

There have been four Big Ten games this season where both teams scored at least 1.15 PPP… Obviously Iowa played in two of them, because Iowa. Can you guess the other team that played in two? I wouldn’t have guessed it.

Northwestern?

Edit: I’m wrong

Indiana/Wisco ? Illinois/Maryland? Just taking a stab at it

Misread your statement. Guessing it’s Maryland or Indians

It is actually Rutgers. The four games are Illinois/Rutgers, Minnesota/Iowa, Purdue/Rutgers and Iowa/MSU.

Wouldn’t be all that surprised to see a Big Ten shooter transfer to UK next year. :eyes:

Cal can’t have just realized in 2021 that you have to be able to shoot and space the floor!!!

I am rooting for Iowa in this one. Can’t have OSU be too good in both sports.

Though I may have some fun in the second half counting how many seconds Garza stays in the lane.

Kind of curious who you are referring to? Foster Loyer?

That garbage zone Fran runs is blasphemy

I don’t fully understand how this OSU team is doing so well, so I guess that’s a sign that Holtmann is doing a good job there.

The most Iowa thing of all time, turning an 11 point lead into a 2 point lead in the span of 2 minutes.

Where are all the Patrick McCaffery double digit scorer haters now? The robot Rothstein is never wrong!

It is truly remarkable how awful Iowa’s zone looks

Who needs CJ Fredrick when you have Jack Nunge?

Can you really even call it a “zone”?

I get from a standings viewpoint it’s good for Iowa to lose and drop back to 4 losses, but man I can’t stand OSU in any capacity, including basketball. It irks me to no end that they’re good right now, I desperately need them to start losing games soon for my own sanity.

How do you just let Justin Ahrens get up 3-point attempts? You have to make him do anything else.
