Crappy second foul call on Winston.
It’s weird to me that there’s never been a push from the NCAA to make more “no-calls” in these block/charge scenarios.
Aaron Henry with a pretty bad ankle sprain
Seton Hall runs offense like Penn State or Rutgers. Throwing up trash constantly.
Pretty much one on one hero ball. Do they even have an offense that involves more than one player at a time, or maybe two.
And that crap doesn’t work well when you have two 7 footers clogging the paint either.
Gill is a difference maker on defense
Offense looks gross
.81 PPP for MSU
.73 PPP for Seton Hall
I agree. The Seton Hall player beat Winston to the spot, but then Winston did not initiate nearly enough contact to warrant a foul. But because the Seton Hall guy was moving so quickly to get there first, slight contact/looking to sell contact sent him flying. No call, both ways.
Prediction, Seton Hall farts around with a similar offensive performance. Winston perks up MSU’s offense to get them to around 1 PPP on the day. MSU wins handily.
That’s the easy bet for sure. Winston only playing 7 minutes, plus Henry getting injured, and Seton Hall is still losing at home. MSU fans were trying to poo poo Creighton. Would love to hear their analysis on SHU
WOW. 3rd foul on Cassius. He needs to know that he’s never allowed to reach for a steal.
Anyone else just catch Aaron Henry getting some injury advice from Kyle Ahrens on the bench? Bummer
I don’t have the opportunity to watch a ton of basketball, but I will say for sure MSU is not as good as last season. Tillman looks bigger and less effective with added weight, and the supporting cast isn’t nearly as strong, sans Goins, McQuaid and Langford.
I would force Winston to his right every time were I checking him. He’s much less effective. He doesn’t have as many options, and he’s not quick enough to blow by people. He clearly, clearly, clearly wants to get to his left; that’s his comfort zone
Really conflicted on who I want to win this game. On one hand the B10 can’t afford losses like this, and I have some really annoying Xavier friends who are enormous Big East homers / Big Ten haters. On the other hand, fuck MSU.
Yeah, they’re worse than last year right now. No one has been able to successfully space the floor around Cassius. Still going to easily be a top ten defense though.
Who is better right now/who would you rather have? --> Aaron Henry or Isaiah Livers
