I know we’re supposed to hate hero ball in 2019, but Myles Powell is a bad man, and Seton Hall needs his buckets desperately. Huge performance coming off an injury.
Malik Hall is out of his mind
Livers easily. All the Henry hype this offseason was smoke and mirrors. He’s a solid player but not on Livers’ level.
Better question is Livers or Tillman
Yeah MSU is a good team and they will likely win the Big Ten, but they haven’t impressed me that much so far. This isn’t some elite team and I do think they are missing more than people want to let on with the losses of McQuaid and Goins.
Livers won Mr. Basketball so give me him. The same rationale does not apply to Loyer vs DDJ.
The point I’ve made about MSU all summer is that they have serious questions to answer and will be worse early but if 2 of 3 guys figure it out they have the potential to be as good or better.
Brown, Watts, Hall, etc. that group is really the key for MSU.
Brendan Quinn’s Seton Hall scouting report was pretty damn good from what I recollect.
You were spot on
And the problem with a team like Seton Hall is this is probably what they are. If you don’t have something you are trying to get to in March then your ceiling is a bit limited.
Except that the McKnight guy can’t play a lick of D. The kind of guy who gets into his defensive stance in an exaggerated way so he tricks people into thinking he’s good.
I get that Myles Powell is the man but that was a terrible and selfish decision to jack up a 25-footer with no one under the rim. He of course misses and then Winston gets an uncontested layup on the other end.
Seton Hall throwing the ball to #35 is MSU’s best defense.
I like me some Malik Hall. He seems mature for a freshman
Seton Hall makes so many boneheaded defensive mistakes.
I honestly have no idea how Seton Hall is in this game. They feel awful.
Two words: Myles Powell
Really weird game. I feel way let down by both of these teams.
Tillman has 3 points and is 1-of-9 with 4 turnovers.
