Back to back coming up against Washington and New York, wondering if JB decides to rest some guys against Washington
Kevin Huerter Masterclass.
BTW, the Pistons improved to 14-6 against the West.
Anthony Davis youâre now a Washington Wizard
McCain makes sense for the Thunder. VJ pushed him out of the rotation, and OKC has a war chest of picks that they can trade for a player.
Also, lol at Nico Harrison. Iâm kinda shocked the Mavs were able to get multiple picks in return. What are the Wiz doing?
there have been several deals that I just donât understand, and the Davis one, for the Wizards, I donât get. Itâs a positive for the Mavs but also cements how absurd the initial deal was.
I donât really get anything the Bulls have done in the past few days, particularly trading Vuc for Simons
So the picks arenât all that great for the Mavs
my guess is that Cooper Flagg may be collecting social security by the time that Warriors picks conveys
The Bulls keep moving:
Just in: The Chicago Bulls are trading Coby White and Mike Conley Jr. to the Charlotte Hornets for Collin Sexton, Ousmane Dieng and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Just in: The Chicago Bulls are trading Coby White and Mike... - ESPN http://espn.com/app
If they dealt Coby White last trade deadline, he gets a first round pick, because heâs a serious bargain at $12 million a year. This trade deadline, he has nearly no value whatsoever because he canât be extended (max extension is 140% of his prior salary - or $16.8 million, which he wonât take). Same thing as Ayo (max extension is $11 million, which he wonât take). Really infuriating.
Instead, weâre just trading all these guys for OTHER expiring contracts and ok second round picks.
I HATE the Bulls
Right now, they have about $83 million committed for next year (this hasnât changed in the past two days - they keep swapping expiring deals for expiring deals) before considering what they do with Ivey, who has a qualifying offer of about $13.5 million - so at best $68 million.
I guess they think theyâre hunting Giannis, but unless they can find some takers for dead money like Pat Williams its hard to see how they get other starting caliber players, and a lineup of Giddey, Giannis, Buzelis, and a series of â???â isnât that intriguing.
The only upside here is that theyâve made their team unintelligible and completely defense-phobic so maybe they will improve their draft slot.

Lakers center Jaxson Hayes has been suspended one game for pushing a Wizards mascot https://www.espn.com/contributor/sha...difier=webview http://espn.com/app
I think the pick automatically becomes a 2nd rd pick unless it falls between 21 and 30. The Mavs didnât get a lot back but all things considered (ADâs injury history, age and salary), they did about as well as they could. They got rid of a ton of salary for expiring deals and some draft capital. They now have much more flexibility to build around Flagg going forward.
They already made the worst trade in NBA history so thereâs no salvaging that. Except that they got saved by a 1.8% chance in the lottery and landed a future superstar in Flagg.
From the Wizards perspective, I am not sure. They didnât give up anything significant for either Trae or AD but do you really want to build around those two guys? They will cost a ton the next few years and have serious flaws. AD next to Sarr doesnât really make a ton of sense.
Report: Paul traded to Raptors, expected to be waived
Thereâs more Draymond

Lonzo Ball to Utah
It sounds like heâll be released.
Duncâd on called the Bulls moves âperformance art in uselessnessâ
Hearing Bilas on the call for the Knicks/Nuggets game is so wrong. Viscerally uncomfortable. Thereâs so much college hoops that he could be on. And I dont even really like him on college hoops!
