Aren’t the Celtics better off being bad this year and letting Tatum heal? They have their pick and adding another lottery pick to their roster would be big (especially if they get really lucky in the lottery).

They’re too good to miss the playoffs unless Brown and White get hurt but yeah they aren’t like expecting to win a title this year or anything

If I’m the executive, I’m hoping they’re bad enough to contend for the lottery pick. I’d want JT to heal up in a proper timeline instead of rushing his rehab just to get back on the court.

I mean, losing 5 rotational players plus a huge weakness at the 5 where there’s no rebounding and rim protection, they’re a borderline lottery team. They’re 0-3 against an improving eastern conference. They might be a lottery team

As for PBP, Noah Eagle has a good voice but making an And-1 in the 1st quarter sound like a monumental play in the playoffs is unnecessary.
