This way he doesn’t have to tell you everything he hates about college hoops.
i genuinely haven’t thought about bilas in forever. does he just not do college games anymore…?
Honestly, no idea
. ChatGPT says yes. I remember watching the msu v Duke game, and hearing Jim Jackson, and thinking: “do I wish it was bilas instead? I need to take a shower”
I’ve talked myself into it. They’re still tanking this year so you get Top 4 Pick, George, Sarr, Johnson as your core that’s aging in right as AD and Trae are aging out.
You do need one of your core to actually hit a top 15 type outcome to actually compete for the top of the East and I dk who that’s actually going to be but I don’t think the odds are that bad? So maybe you’d rather take another swing at tanking next year but I get it.
So with OKC’s loss, them and Detroit both have 12 losses. Did not see that coming
The Kuminga/GSW drama has finally come to an end. What a bizarre saga
This may explain some of Caris’ inconsistencies this year:

What are the Bulls doing?
Trading away everyone and reshuffling the deck!
The Bulls managed to trade 3 guys at the nadir of their value (due to the fact their contracts are expiring, and two of them (Coby, Ayo) won’t sign extensions off their deals, so Bird Rights are useless.
In this one, I at least see a possible asset - Rob Dillingham is under contract further out, the TWolves have given up on him, so if you’re a believer in Dillingham, that’s SOMETHING.
But dealing White (expiring contract) for Sexton (expiring contract) and some bad seconds, then Vuc (expiring contract) for Simons (expiring contract)…I can’t even find a rationale.
They’ve given up on making the play-in, clearly, because it’s hard to play 2 of Ivey, Simons, Sexton, and Dillingham at the same time, and that’s like half their total of rotation caliber players.
On the other hand - if your team wants a scoring-first combo guard, LMK
My big complaint is just that Ayo, this year, will help the TWolves a ton. He’s an actual two-way guard who is a willing passer - a thing they badly need for the playoffs. You should properly guage the value of a player to the team you’re trading him to!

Adding a 36 year old to win a playoff series definitely makes me want to sign a long term extension
Look, I am certainly not here to cape for James Harden, and I don’t think you can win much if he’s one of your two best players. I’d argue that, in this conception of the team, he is not one of the two best players.
I would also note that no matter how bad James Harden is, he’s better than a Darius Garland DNP. Furthermore, post-trade reporting has made clear that Mitchell and Garland saw eye-to-eye that they could not win a high-stakes playoff series together (this isn’t “they didn’t like each other”, this is “they don’t think they fit well together”.
If I’m the Pistons, I would’ve rather had Ayo than Huerter. Maybe the money didn’t match up.
Huerter makes more, I’m pretty sure.
In theory, Huerter is a better shooter but I’m not sure that’s actually true. Ayo is definitely a better player.

USA Stars looks a lot like a potential 2028 Olympic core
Agreed. You can throw in Hali, Tatum and Brown to this group.
I would pass on Brown and I would possibly exclude Barnes but yeah would think that’s gonna be the future of the national team for the most part
What are the odds that the KAT inclusion was to fill out the “World” Team
it’s not his best szn but a reasonable pick. better than Yves Missi or Capela or something.
