2025-26 NBA Discussion

Don’t disagree. Seems like they figure he’ll be slightly more of a spacer with the bench unit than Ivey was. But probably pretty marginal

I guess that I need to root for Minnesota to NOT make the Giannis deal and hope for some Load Management days for Ant.

I find it very hard to envision a world where the swap isn’t done, but the Timberwolves absolutely won’t become “bad”

Huerter had been good shooter. He wasn’t shooting well at the time of the trade last year but then started shooting well. This year he’s been terrible, maybe for 15-18 mpg he can hit a few 3s to help the cause. Harris/Huerter are off the books at the end of the year, I doubt they were going to reach a deal for Ivey. They have options with Duncan but I can see him sticking around and they obviously have to re-sign Duren.

Ivey wasn’t bringing anything to Pistons. I don’t think Huerter does either though. I would rather just play Daniss and Sasser off the bench

They can walk out of the Robinson deal next year at the cost of $2 million if they really care to. Without doing that, they can $16 million under the cap before signing Duren. Cutting Duncan lose would bump that to $29 million.

A serious owner would use that money to sign/trade for a quality player before signing Duren (but obviously still re-sign Duren), an unserious owner wouldn’t, and would just let Duren vaporize their space and stay cheap. A good test!

Yeah. I just hope the 5-6 spot gap stays that way or improves.

Someone on ESPN just called Harden a “team first guy”.

Also, Vuc for Simons. Bulls loading up on SGs!

Starting lineup Giddey White Ivey Simons Jalen Smith baby

Celtics all of a sudden got a little scary

If AKME trades White and Ayo they will have dealt their three best players no less than two years later than they should have which is “funny”. They are building the next 39-43 era for when Coby and Vuc are gone

IMO, Gores is serious. I don’t think he’s afraid to spend if it leads to wins

I had no idea Juwan was in Brooklyn

Danny Ainge is a beast. I know Jackson is injury prone but good god that team is stacked moving forward. Collier, George, Bailey, Markanen, Jackson, Filipowski, Kessler is a wild young nucleus. They didn’t need anymore picks really.

Stewart and Duren getting into with JV

Harden to Cleveland official

Great first half by Pistons up 19

Seems like the general consensus on the Pistons as they have continued to win has changed. Earlier in the year it seems like people were expecting the other foot to drop, but they have just kept winning.

Another win for the Pistons. 4 more before the break.

Solid win against a healthy Joker. Things got hairy in the 2nd half, but they managed to hold onto a win.
