The Pistons blow out the Bucks. I believe they were up 26 when they pulled the starters with about 4 minutes to go. 19-5!
Giddeyās stats are still good
Just no correlation to winning
I didnāt doubt that the bulls could build a team to make Giddeyās statistical performance look good, they accomplished it last year
I believe i heard SGA hasnāt played in the 4th quarter of 12 games so far this year.
Obviously the Thunder are really well run, Presti has been on a big heater, and basic talent evals up and down have been basically peerless
But man, the Clippers really dropped that bag
what were they supposed to do? getting Leonard at that point came with that trade request. letting your franchise player be your GM is always a risk, but if it leads to not having that franchise player at all, itās a risk teams are going to takeā¦
Despite Donald Sterling, the Clippers were my āLA Teamā when I lived there. Mainly because they had Loy āMr. Clipperā Vaught and Gary Grant when I first moved there, followed by Moā Taylor, and then non-Wolverines Darius Miles, Quentin Richardson, Lamar Odom, Corey Maggette and Elton Brand. And Ralph Lawler was a good and fun PBP guy for their broadcasts (though Chick Hearn was great for the Lakers, too) and Bill Walton was much funnier at the time than he was during NBC games. To me, they were loveable losers like the Cubs teams I watched as a kid in the 80ās. And they had occasional blips of success over the years. The Lob City era was pretty fun, though they ultimately fell short of major success.
Fast forward to the last few years. Kawhiās payment scandal aside, they still have a massive upgrade in ownership but thereās nearly nothing I like about them anymore. Theyāre just blah. The main reason is James Harden but I was already souring on them when they got Leonard and Paul George. Maybe itās because they became big spenders? Too Laker-like? Iām not sure. Creating much worse uniforms than they used to have didnāt help.
Anyway, thereās nothing really loveable about them anymore to me but theyāre still losers.
which is a shame because life is fun when the clippers are better than the Lakers
It certainly used to be.
I did like that Lakers team when I moved there too, with Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel, Cedric Ceballos, Vlade, Sedale Threatt, Doug Christie, an old James Worthy, and the late World Champion Piston Elden Campbell. They were bad but the young players were exciting.
Wow, I just looked the team up and Worthy was only 32. It was his last year, though. I wouldāve guessed that he was 37 or 38. He had a much shorter career than Iād remembered.
No you didnāt. Youāre not allowed to like any Lakers teams.
Discussion over.
I think Kawhi being weird about his health was predictable, and I think extending him on terms that is going to get the team railed by the league was probably bad and can I also mention the Clippers also owe, somehow, the Thunder their 2027 first rounder AND a 2028 pick swap for hr trade to acquire Harden
The Clippers are not going to sniff .500 for like a decade
I feel a reprieve for my Orlando Magic slander. No place for this in basketball.
At the very least, this is the third time Bane has done this so far this year, wondering if heās insane
They had a laugh afterwards, if you go to the 2:24 mark.
He did spend a lot of time around Ja.
Hereās a preview of what the 3 all star teams may look like.
The NBA All-Star Game needed a lifeline, and the league hopes that the introduction of a USA-versus-World format will provide exactly that.

The gap in defensive efficiency between #1 OKC and #2 Golden State is larger than the gap between #2 Golden State and #23 Chicago
holy s*** hahaha. thatād be like finding out the difference between michigan and #2 iowa state is the same as the difference between #2 iowa state and, like, #284 binghamton or something
