I agree, it sounds to me like Chris Paul was calling a spade a spade and asking for accountability. He then took the fall because Lue and co didnât want to upset the super stars.
Iâd like Phoenix to bring him in , even if itâs in a leadership role so he can go out trying to compete.
Rarely say this but this was an embarrassing loss. Giannis plays 2 minutes Pistons up 18 and blow it. Stewart loses his cool gets ejected, tons of turnovers in the 4th. Itâs one loss but JB needs to tighten up the rotation too many weird lineup combos. Someone needs to talk to Stewart heâs too valuable to keep doing dumb stuff.
Also highlight that they need shooters. Duncanâs absence is pretty glaring. Wonder if Langdon makes a play for an another shooter at some point this season.
Cade needs to tighten up the turnovers. Teams are blitzing him hard and he is turning it over way too much. I know at one point last night the Pistons had turned it over 7 times in the 4th quarter and the Bucks hadnât turned it over at all. Itâs hard to win doing that.
Is Pat Spencer that motherf*cker
(There is a video here)
He looks like he should be podcasting for Bar Stool but heâs actually doing things.
Lawrence Frank getting an extension is hilarious on many levels
Job performance? Not great, but what if he turns states witness?
Do I have this right? LeBronâs 1,300 game streak of scoring 10+ points ended tonight? Remarkable.
Isaiah Stewartâs block on Shaedon Sharpeâs dunk attempt tonight was the best Iâve seen in a loooooong time.
The Pistons won an ugly game tonight vs. Portland to go 18-5 overall and 5-0 vs. the West.
All you Pistons fans have missed the Bulls making a STRONG argument for being considered the worst team in the NBA
Losers of six straight, that includes the Magic (fine), but also the Pelicans, the Nets, the Hornets, and the Pacers (twice). Their last win came by beating the Wizards by 1 on the strength of final minute free throws
A veritable whoâs who is the dregs of the league
OKC is now 22-1 with a + 15.6 point differential. They are ridiculous and it doesnât even seem to matter who has been out as long as SGA plays. They could legitimately win 75 games and end up with a top 5 pick thanks to the Clippers.
Jalen Williams: missed 19 games
Holmgren: missed 4 games
Hartenstein: missed 4 games
Dort: missed 8 games
Wiggins: missed 11 games
Caruso: missed 8 games
Joe: missed 6 games
They will win the title very easily and we will have to endure an offseason of ratings talk which should be fun. Then talk about whether theyâre the most boring dynasty of all time
when Argentina won the 22 WC I saw it described as the âseries finaleâ of the whole sport of soccer
but that WC and Final was very thrilling and conclusive and had such a compelling plot (Messi WC title). the way this is headed itâs sort of like when a comic book movie is split into two so the first one âendsâ on a miserable, dominating note.
thatâs not to say I see OKC as a villain or bad or anything, itâs just rare to have a âchaseâ that isnât really a chase at all.
whoâs gonna beat emâŚthe Pistons?
Usually I would say that in an NCAA tournament style playoff with a single game someone like the Pistons would have a chance but not in a 7 game series. But this year? They are 22-1!! No one has a chance if SGA is healthy.
I was thinking of asking you what went wrong. Was their hot start Foolâs Gold or are they just in a slump?
Their hot start was hot clutch time, now they are losing clutch time
wonder how many times OKC has been in the clutch this year
I think the issue is that the roster is terrible (nothing here even resembles an all star) and is basically the same group as the past three years, who Billy was able to whipsaw into 39 wins with super-pace and max effort play, and many times do these guys need to see the ceiling here is the 9 seed before they sort of lose motivation
But we are also just not in Bulls SZN yet, that wonât start until they get to go over .500 in March against teams starting Mac McClung
The Bulls also have a long lineage of anti-tank commanders - Niko Mirotic, Coby White, Josh Giddey, who rise in March to push the Bulls down to late lottery
Giddey was looking like an all-star for the first 2-3 weeks.
