“College basketball’s greatest rebound?”
You mean from having a player commit murder? I don’t hold that against the current team as much as some others, but you don’t get to talk about overcoming adversity for that.

That’s what everyone will say but to be honest Baylor was just really good. These are clearly the two best teams in the country.
Gonzaga has as many quality wins as anyone.
You watching Chet? You really want to play for a team that gets blown out in the championship game?

It really bothers me that they talk about it like a Marshall situation
Yup I agree
Vital played a, well, vital game tonight
I won my bracket group. Went from 9th to 1st simply because I was the one to pick Baylor. Everyone else had Gonzaga or Illinois
Gonzaga played the dreaded night overtime game on Saturday against a UCLA team that took the starch out of them. Appeared to be a significant difference in power bar levels. I’ve always wanted the title game moved to Tuesday night. That extra day can do wonders for the body and mind.
Awesome College Basketball season! Glad I could enjoy it with this website. Props Dylan!
Great season boys!! Wolverines winning it all next year
To the person that commented on Flo Thamba’s name earlier. Please check out this Reddit post hahah
Incoming PTSD of no college basketball for the foreseeable future
That last game will swing it. I had two of the top 3 brackets (one mine, one halfsies with Louise in Commercial Paper) out of thousands at Lehman Brothers one year. The guy with the other one had Arizona as the champs. I took the L.
But that’s on them. They gave up 80 to UCLA in regulation. Yeah, Juzang shot well, but still.
Ask any Big Ten or Big 12 team if they’d like to play basically all their difficult games in November and December then play much weaker competition during conference season versus the typical power conference schedule that is littered with difficult games throughout.
I think any team would opt for Gonzaga’s path. It’s undoubtedly an advantage for them.
Baylor is the best team, that’s impossible to dispute. But I would have liked to see us at full strength (with a healthy Livers) take on the Zags.
Sure, it is an advantage. Baylor might have gone undefeated the entire year without a COVID pause in a tougher league.
It doesn’t invalidate how good that team was though. They beat a ton of really good teams and waltzed through the NCAA tournament to the Final Four.
Banner season for Illinois they only lost to Baylor by 13… #RunnerUp2021
Yeah, in my early notes for that Gonzaga game my thoughts were… Michigan’s PNR offense could be really deadly here with Livers but hard to see a path without him.
