Dame, CP3, Steve Nash are all just 3 guys who are smaller… don’t think u have to be above 6’4 to make a winning impact
I just don’t think physically they should be lumped together. Here are the DX physical comps for Suggs:
Davis would be out of his league.
Hunter did surprisingly well guarding this year. Fast guys, bigs, you name it, there are defensive possessions where he was locked in.
But it wouldn’t last over time. They’d find holes and exploit them.
Suggs can be a elite defender when he’s focused… don’t hate the Jrue comp if he can become a better m shooter
The scary thing about Cade is he got his numbers even when the system and supporting cast doesn’t highlight him all that well. NBA is going to feel a lot easier for him especially as a passer.
Agreed. The analytics guys can say all they want, but beating Pepperdine and San Francisco by double digits isn’t nearly as difficult as just winning against much better teams like Ohio St, Kansas, etc.
I’ve heard the Jrue Holiday comp for Suggs from some draft experts.
Juwan hid his defensive deficiencies but when he gets one on one in the perimeter, he gets driven by smaller players. This is part of the reason why he likely won’t ever be a 1st round pick. Great player but his game isn’t made for modern NBA.
The other thing is that there can be a cumulative effect to playing a lot of tough games, which is hard to measure statistically.
The difference in team athleticism between these teams is massive.
So Bob Knight is going to get his wish to come true!
Vecenie asked if Baylor has the best pair of lead guards since Jameer and Delonte. I think so.
Man, I wish I had/could have laid money on this one
My heart hurts every time I see divincenzo’s name
I’m a Jalen Green fan too. That young man can flat out play. Gonna be some tough choices for the top of the lottery.
In hindsight, the fact that a First Four team nearly took the Zags to 2OT probably should have been a warning.
Lol Baylor just iso for dunks
That’s Zach loveday? Lol been a while since I heard that name
Absolutely. How often do we talk about the last road game of a 4-5 game Big Ten gauntlet full of good teams being one in which a team just runs out of gas?
I hope the pistons get Cade, Mobley, Suggs or Green. Other than that I’d be pretty disappointed. I think all 4 of those can be superstars.
