Partial release allows for unlimited contact by committed to school even during designated no contact period.
We should just blow up his phone the entire Kansas OV.

Howard will send Martelli over there to pull on fire alarms until the visit is over.
“I don’t see myself deciding in the next few days, no,” he said. “But I will sit down with my family and talk through it all. It will definitely be this month.”
Trying not get to caught up in post visit high but… doubt this goes our way
The fact that he didn’t commit on the spot and doesn’t sound like he’s planning on committing this week … well, gives Howard and Staff a better chance than UM had when Wilson initially asked for his release. Especially now that Michigan has its full staff in place and can pitch him based on expertise and connections of the staff (which UNC has as well).
I agree YostsGhosts - we needed him to get through the 2 visits with no commitment. With that accomplished, Howard will have a shot to pitch the benefits of UM. It’ll probably be uphill, but possible.
Yup, decommits don’t usually come back in the fold after stepping away. Dax Hill in football this year was an exception. But it’s rare. So Howard was always facing an uphill climb. However the longer away from a visit to KU or UNC the decision drags on, the more “even” Michigan’s odds become to pull off the upset.
Franz Wagner would seem to be a less difficult “pull” for Howard, if he’s interested in the player. Especially if Moe & Beilein speak highly of the current staff.
There’s been some talk that Wilson has not responded to Howard to set up his in home visit
When a player decommits, it’s usually unlikely for them to re-commit. It’s ok. Losing only one of our two commits is a pretty big win IMO. I’d love to have Wilson back in the fold, but he’s gotta make the best decision for himself and it’s hard to go from JB, Williams or Self to Howard. The previous three have a loooooong track record and Howard is an unknown. Is what it is.
Well Mom is excited to meet Juwan. Leave it at that.
We’ll see. Manny Harris re-committed to Michigan after a coaching change and checking out some other programs. If Wilson says he’s going to decide “sometime this month,” that means there’s a decent chance the euphoria of the visits will subside and JH will get the last big shot with him. All of that is good.
I mean, Self has a long track record of mediocre player development.
I didn’t think UNC had anymore schollies with them signing the grad transfer
I don’t disagree. But that’s still more of a known than Howard
Just wondering if any of the schools on Wilson’s list offer a similar opportunity for immediate playing time like Michigan does?
If Juwan is going to be the great recruiter he’s projected to be, this feels like one he should be able to get back in house. You never want to make one recruit a litmus test though, but between him and Wagner, I’ll be a little bit skeptical of his potential as a recruiter if he can’t charm one of the two into coming.
Does anyone know if he reached out to Cumberland, or if the rules allowed him to do so?
You really should have stopped there.
Think your expectations are bit high. He’s held onto Bajema and Zeb. Two of the three recruits we had committed under JB. I think that’s pretty good. From what we’ve read about Franz, it always seemed like it was Michigan or staying pro in Germany. Then Jb left. The only person there Franz will have a relationship with is Saddi. If he comes, it’ll be for that reason. Nothing to really do with Howard as you can’t blame a kid for not wanting to come to a school where you’ve known the head coach for barely any time at all. Same with Wilson. Every school he’s looked at has coaches that have been at their schools for a long time. JB had been at Michigan for a long time. Seems his criterion revolve around stability and established resume.
