2019 - Wing - Franz Wagner (Commit)

Yes, the next one is tomorrow.

The last time Franz came out of the game, it appeared the trainers were working either on his Ribs or on his right side.

Yes, the trainer was working on him until the end of the game. I didn’t see ice. He just seemed to be massaging the area. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious, but during crunch time with the game on the line, Franz didn’t go back in the game. We’ll see tomorrow whether and how much he plays.

We know Juwan was there but this is still cool to see

Those PGs on Wagner’s team played pretty terrible the first game.

Is that the infamous @PAX right there?

I would call him famous. Only infamous to fans of Alba

Friend of the Forum, certainly.

Game 3 starting now:

Franz started games 1 and 2, did not play in the 1st quarter of this one.

Correct, Franz is a no to today as posted in the other thread.

Sorry about that. No access to that thread since I’m not yet a member.
Thanks for the heads-up. Won’t bother watching any more of this game.

Franz excels at off-ball movement, and he will be one of X’s favorite targets from day 1.

Yeah, I think Dylan mentioned that earlier…they basically need him to be the guy–and he still has some development to go in terms of creating off the bounce. Nothing wrong with that at this point in his development.

I don’t think his performance has been that discouraging, really. A lot of his skill-set and intangibles remained on display and haven’t necessarily changed my assessment of his ability at this point in time. Think he still comes in and gives us a great lift this year.

Currently watching his game against Russia. He looks better today than he did over the weekend. A few takeaways is it is clear his basketball IQ exceeds that of his teammates. It’s a bit frustrating to watch because I can’t help but think the higher level of play, the more he will flourish. He looks very smooth off the ball, lot of cuts, screens and pops. Can’t wait for him to get on campus and begin meshing with Zavier and co.

Full highlights of the tournament to this point including another poster dunk today.

It would appear Franz found out we knew about a couple of dunk attempts that the rim hung him on and wanted to clear the air on those!

 Yeah, did not expect him to have as many 3-pointers as poster dunks through four games.
