Tom Izzo is watching 2016 PG Cassius Winston (U of D) tonight. Said earlier he would be out recruiting tonight. (h/t @BCrandall11_9)

Tom Izzo drove by himself solo to see Cassius Winston tonight. What does that tell you?

izzo can have Winston, ill take Murray all day
I think Murray is a very good player, but in no way do I think he’s a one and done, or a huge upgrade over Winston. Different type of players, but the difference in overall impact is very small.
Kentucky is starting to sniff around Murray now. Who knows where his recruitment goes from here, seems more than probable he is going to reclassify.
@ MattD, I just think Murray is more athletic and dynamic. From what I’ve seen of Winston, he seems to play a bit slower and doesn’t seem as athletic. Maybe I’m wrong. He couldn’t be a one and done anyway if he reclassified, he’s a year early so he wouldn’t be old enough for the NBA next spring.

He is already 18. His birthday is in February. He will be 19 before the draft.

Certainly agree regarding athleticism. Just think Winston has better change of direction and court vision. Winston’s biggest issue is defense, he struggles in that aspect of the game
Well, if you had your way, would you rather have Murray on campus this fall, or wait a year for Winston?

Always the first to commit when dealing with 2 elite recruits

Take Murray now, can’t worry about 2016 class if you can get a great one in 2015.
Greg had a career night finishing with 22 pts, 14 rbs. Cassius added 19 pts, 7 asts and Eke had 10 pts, 6 rbs #GoCubs

Sounds like Goodin is cutting his list to 5 within a month or so…UM on the cusp of that top 5, but not in the top 3. As with every recruit, he wants ‘the love’ via constant phone calls and texts…IE he wants the respective schools to beg him to come.

Florida, Louisville, Michigan, Minnesota, and Tennessee are the schools recruiting Quentin Goodin the hardest. pic.twitter.com/y8qMYW5zHa

Have to say, I didn’t figure that Michigan was pressing for Goodin that hard. Seems contrary to the JB mold, but I’m all for a physical, aggressive, and athletic PG. If there is one skill I am confident in JB developing in a player it is a shooting stroke,
FWIW I heard plenty of chatter from UD students/parents at the game yesterday conveying the same. I have no personal information on the situation, so can’t confirm the validity
Apparently Izzo was here to see Winston, Beilein was not. U-D people around me think it's only a matter of time till Winston commits to MSU

Dylan - I do know that JB was in West Virgina last night…any insight as to who (if any) he was checking in on, Levi Cook perhaps?
I personally believe no one has any clue of where Cassius is going to commit. If commited to iowa state I would not even be shocked.
