Analysis from a forum poster elsewhere whoās watching the game (Iām listening on radio):
Lima goes into the half down by only 3 points after trailing by as much as 14 (Westerville was shooting lights out).
My thoughts on Simpson so farā¦
Great handle, heās a natural point guard.
He can penetrate at will, as nobody can check him. Heās very quickā¦ If help doesnāt come, he goes to the rim and usually finishes, and if it does heās been very good at finding the open man.
Heās 1-1 from beyond the arcā¦they havenāt said, but I believe he as about 9-11 pts in that first half, with a few boards, and several assists.
Heās played very tenacious man to man defense.
Of course, how all this translates when heās in the college game will remain to be seen obviously.
Iāll also add that in the first half, the OSU big man who is committed to Westerville has been completely unimpressive. Maybe he turns that around in the 2nd halfā¦
It seems Simpson fouls a lot, whatās up with that? Hand checking?
No idea. Seems likely considering all of the talk about him being a dog.
