Coach Hamilton spoke really highly of Juwan in that. Was nice to hear they have a relationship outside of the business.
I know this isn’t totally related, but I can’t help but think about the interview Hamilton gave to that CBS reporter after the Elite 8 game a couple years ago. He’s obviously an elite coach, but that entire sequence (essentially giving up and not fouling down four points in the final 30 seconds, and then scolding the reporter afterwards for rightfully questioning him for it) was not a good sequence for him.
IIRC an FSU player messed up and Hamilton was covering for him.
Wouldn’t it have taken 5 players to mess up? There were like 20 seconds left and anyone could have fouled.
Yeah I just remember some FSU bloggers claiming that Hamilton was in a weird mood for that postgame interview because his guy(s) screwed up and he didn’t want to drag them on TV.
