If Bufkin plays more than expected it will be at Davante Jones expense. You can pencil Brooks in for 30+ minutes and you’re kidding yourself if you think otherwise

I meant to respond with this earlier, but I think looking at ranking in this context is a slippery slope. Guys are in college now, ranking doesn’t matter. Roster fit and opportunity matter.
Example: Mady Sissoko was ranked 2 spots ahead of Hunter Dickinson in last year’s class.

I know Dylan…and I agree with you. I picked some data to make my argument. My objective was not unlike what you pointed out with Ivey & Curbelo.
I think there’s room for one more regular rotation guard. Hypothetically, if Collins is awesome, he could get it because Jones and Eli can both play the 2. I do agree with the convention that Bufkin because of his scoring, shooting, and possible ability to play the wing, is ahead of Collins in the pecking order.
My real point was that @buckets12 compared Jordan Poole getting 13mpg and insisting that Bufkin is getting that many minimum. He’s probably right, but the fight for the bench rotation spots is going to be fierce. Bufkin is my pick too - but he’s coming off an injury and is less physically developed while also competing with Collins and Zeb.
