That is all!!
Well, a lick ain’t much so I think he at least plays that. But yes, Nik still has not developed his defensive game at all. IMHO, reason enough for him to stay one more year. Be “the guy” if GRIII goes pro and practice leadership/defense.
That isn’t changing with another year. He just doesn’t have the foot speed or length to ever really be good at defense. Caris and Zak on the other hand have no excuse at all.

Fair enough. I’m not saying Nik can focus on defense for a whole offseason and be a stopper. He is an offensive role player who is dedicated to his craft. I am still willing to cut Caris and Zak some slack. Caris is still way undersized and has been victimized by teams that take wings and post him up. Zak is a freshman, one more year learning the system for Beilein could help him. That said, I think Zak could afford to also focus on rebounding/blocking out this offseason. Probably more the latter
I’d like to see Nik more focused on rebounding than running to the other end but that’s kind of his game and kind of why we recruited him.
I also don’t see much changing on his man-to-man or rotational defensive efforts.
