Really sucks that it’s over. Absolutely fantastic season.
we just gave away a ton of possessions. this one’s gonna stick with me for a long time.
Shooting in a football arena sucks. Doesn’t excuse the layups, though.
That was the worst offensive performance in um ncaa tourney history, like said previously at least tt was an elite defensive team
Why do you draw up a 3 for Franz there and not Chaundee?
I was talking about his driving layup going right with 3 min left. He never misses that.
I hate two things about this game:
1 - The better team lost
2 - Illinois is going to be KenPom Big Ten champion. Michigan still won’t have won one, ever.
It’s unfortunate. Great season. This was exactly what I was worried about. They had a bit of a pattern of putting up a complete dud every few weeks throughout the season and that’s what we saw tonight
Fair. Enough. Stop caring enough to respond.
At the rate Juwan is going of achieving one extra banner per year, we’ll be getting 6 in Jett Howard’s senior year
Juwan put our players in a position to make plays all game. Nobody stepped up to get buckets at the end. Franz looked scared shooting all game. Hunter was out of sorts.
Team was tight all night. Smith looked stressed before tipoff.
I’m very very sad but I love you all a lot. My first season as a UMHoops subscriber and it was the most fun I’ve ever had following any sport ever. Thank you Dylan and co. (please no podcast for this one)
I’m with you completely. One blow after another in my real life in the past 72 hours, and this is the perfect manifestation of Murphy’s Law.
I would have been happy with an elite 8 loss going into the tournament without Livers but losing to an 11 seed is a big nasty pill to swallow.
I hate that Chaundee didn’t get another shot. he was the only one having a normal game on offense
This where guys who can get their own buckets have so much value. Michigan really hasn’t had a guy like that since Stauskas/Burke, Walton did a bit but point remains. They rode Juzang in the 1st half, early 2nd half got down 9 with Smith playing terrible. Small guards doesn’t work anymore.
Cronin’s interviews were pretty frightening. He’s a real guy. He’s a legit dude. He’s the kind of guy who can lead a crew in the real world.
This was way more depressing than a blowout loss to one of the best teams in a long time would have been. I’d much rather lose that way
I’m gonna be very annoyed when I hear Dylan and BQ wax poetic about how good of a shot Mike Smith had at the end, just because he has some space when you watch the play in slomo. He had a zero percent chance of being able to pull-up from full-speed and nail a three. Abhorrent decision by Mike to not force something at the rim.
