I will echo this as a first season subscriber too. This was my favorite basketball season I can remember because of this community. And I’m definitely going to be sticking around during the off-season.

Sucks to go out after playing one of our worst games in a while, but hats off to UCLA. A season to be proud of for sure. Picked 6th in the B1G and though to be a tough out into the 2nd weekend. Proud of the guys! HAIL!

I really am pretty shocked. I just kept waiting for them to turn it on… really thought Hunter was going to do what he did all year and come up huge in the end. I’m shocked he missed that one and then Smith misses the bunny too.
Unfortunate because a complete dud was the only way I could see them losing this game…
Props to Juzang for hitting tough shots too. I really can’t believe we just lost that.

Disappointing, but I’m not gonna second guess anything. It was one of those nights. I thought we’d have a shot at Gonzaga, but it was not to be.
It was a hell of a season though, and my favorite distraction in an otherwise lousy period in my life…I’m grateful to have been able to follow this great team along with everyone here.
Can’t win ‘em all…already looking forward to next year!

But alas, here we are. Enjoy the season for what it was because it’ll never be anything else. And all things considered, it was pretty damn good.

This team, a team able to step up to so many moments somehow found this one too big for them. I don’t see any other explanation for the first ten minutes and so many other subsequent disasters. I just don’t understand why this was the moment they couldn’t handle. I don’t get it.

I just can’t believe we had a chance to get to the final four, played absolute terrible offense only scored 49 points but still had multiple chances to win and missed them all.
Those shots were taken by Franz Wagner x2 (1-10 shooting), Mike Smith (1-7 shooting) and Eli Brooks trying to throw the ball backwards into the basket.
Mimicked the Ohio State game when Mike Smith was given the last shot despite shooting 1-12 in the game.
The story if they make it is “look at Juwan believing in his guys who are struggling and being rewarded” but the fact is, these guys were struggling to shoot the ball and they were given the biggest opportunities of the game and the struggles they had continued as they missed them all
