NCAA 2021: Michigan vs. Florida State Open Thread

Weird start, but I like that we’re not backing down and attacking the rim.

Don’t know if I believe that’s a real rule and not something he’s confusing with football. Literally never heard this mentioned in my life

With the pace of this game, there is almost a guarantee Zeb gets a run

It was a flop, though. I don’t buy Gene covering for a fellow ref. There was nothing there, imo.

So it’s going to simply be b*tching about officiating. Takes the fun out of the thread.

We are almost 7 minutes into the game and Michigan hasn’t attempted a 3-point shot.

But yeah, Michigan looks better. Just a little too sloppy so far

So…it’s like verticality / cylinder, but for a screen?

Steratore will only ever agree with the call the refs made on the court. It’s all he’s there to do

They can’t get anything in half court we cannot let them run! The ball has to get stopped early to make them run out of the half court.
I think every point they have is from transition.

Has Gene ever acknowledged that calls can be wrong? I haven’t heard it.

It seems like an extension of the cylinder concept.

Again, the opportunities on offense have been there so far.

I’m worried about the bench discrepancies in a game of this pace. They have so many more options than us. We need our top 6 to play basically the whole game, which is impossible with this frantic pace.

Good BJJ…Bad BJJ…Good BJJ…

Is that the longest stretch of the season without a 3PA?

Tons of TV timeouts. We’ll be fine

Not sure how Hunter missed a bunny over the backup big…and the BJJ roller coaster is in full effect today.

Length is really bothering hunter these shot attempts are horrific

Would you say that’s a recipe for an FSU win?
I would think so; shooters gotta shoot. Of course we need to generate open looks and FSU does a superb job at being long and preventing open looks.
