Then Duncan hit them when they counted - 19 points on 5/10 three point shooting.
Though in a losing effort, TIMMAY went for 33 (and 5 assists) last night. He hasnāt been in the playoffs since early in his career, so Iām looking forward to seeing what he can do as a key guy for a team.
Yeah Hardaway has been really good for Dallas this year. He was a contract dump in the Porzingis deal whoās turned out to be a real positive addition.
I think that goes to show what a difference being in a good system with a really good coach can make on a player. Hardaway had the opposite of that in New York. Playing with a generational talent like Luka helps a lot too.
Hardawayās has always been an inconsistent jump shooter even going back to Michigan but this year heās knocking down 40.6% from three. Thatās huge.
D-Bo out to a 5-5 start against the Cavs tonight. Taking out his vengeance on the net after a disappointing showing in the 3 point contest. He lost me some $$$, but manāwhat a story this year. What if he turns out to be the most successful pro of the Beilein era!? lol. At this point, never say never.
He just went 5-10 against the Cavs the other night. I thought I was in a time warp when I saw your post. Weird that theyāre playing B2B.
The olā back-to-back home-and-home. Seems weird, yeah.
Even more weird that the Cavs continue to allow him to get open and shootā¦back. to. back. But, Cavs doing them.
Missed his next 5 to go 5-10ā¦for the second game in a row.
Though this one may not be done yet. Tied with 6 seconds left. Cavs ball.
Update: headed to OT.
Heās been doing this for the past 10+ games or so. Heās shooting out of the world in the first halves of games and then coming up short in the latter half.
When he saw that he started 5 for 5 I prayed to God that he wouldnāt miss the next 5 and thatās exactly what he did. Oh well.
Well, there is a reason they award three points for that shot. 5-10 is still fantastic.
5/11 to be fair, but yeah, for sure.
Iām an especially big DRob fan so I have very high expectations for him. I think heās been the best shooter in the NBA this season and Iād like to see him to continue that. Especially as he is a liability on the defensive end, it feels like he lost the game for the Heat despite shooting well.
I felt like he had a bit more in him down the stretch there, but there were some funky possessions for BKNās offense.
Iggy has always had really good efficiency despite playing in big roles. His ability to finish inside is sorely missed this season. Hopefully he takes one more step soon and it translates to the NBA as well.
Iād say we miss his three point shot. He wasnāt particularly effective inside the line in conference play once teams realized he wasnāt gonna pass.
Thatās a good point.
My point was made on the basis that we donāt really have a perimeter player who can finish consistently inside this season.
Iggy would be an All American if he were playing college basketball this year
If we had Iggy this year and had Johns and Wagner coming off the bench I think weād definitely be in the top 3 favorites to win it all.
Iggy was the only one who left that I thought we would miss.
I would take Livers over Matthews, and Poole just pissed me off too much to want to see him back. But Iggy would have killed it in this offense.
