As a HS ref, I usually expect to see hard fouls by the losing team in this situation…

“They haven’t really had one of these” says Jay Bilas about a team whose other loss is essentially a carbon copy of this one.

According to Bilas, there was that loss Michigan had to Michigan…

It was that discussion a couple of days ago that did it. “Which of the last 3 games could you accept losing?” Too many people picked Illinois.

I did not expect this difference at all. We’ve kept up fine with teams that have kept up fine with Illinois. But sure, it’s negativity night, go off

No, agreed. And I hope that doesn’t happen. Just a knuckle-head move by Brad.

(raises hand) sorry about that.

defensive perspective only, which was more suffocating tonight or sweet 16 texas tech game?

Illinois wanted blood - knowing they probably weren’t winning the title. This was a prove it game to them. I’m just disappointed that we got totally worked with a title on the line and Ayo didn’t even play.

Shout out to the Ken Pom lineup for keeping it under 30…

Reality is quite a concept. No other team in the league has this quickness and speed.
