I’ll always remember driving around Ann Arbor as a high school kid and seeing Courtney Sims pulling into the Domino’s parking lot, looking over at us freaking out that Courtney was next to us and giving us a big smile. As Dusty said, this was for him (and so many others).

Chris Young! He was in my year at school. Committed to Steve Fisher, only for Fish to be fired in his/my senior year of high school, and ended up playing his career for Ellerbe and Amaker. His freshman year he looked completely lost on the court but every year he improved, until he was one of the team’s best players senior year (albeit on a bad team, unfortunately). He’ll always be of my favorites.
In my four years, we played in one postseason game and it was an NIT loss. Now it is so, so sweet.
