Yeah for a while there was a dearth of um talent in the tier just below the nba .Now its not the case at all with trey, nik, dj, chaundee, walton, simpson etc.

great 99% invisible recently about the history of girls 6-on-6 HS bball. was much more interesting than i expected, and i kind of want to watch this now. also easy to draw a throughline from this era to the iowa womenâs team having a firebreathing offense

I was going to post that 6 on 6 podcast too. For the those that donât want to listen, the rules of 6 on 6 is that you have 3 offensive players and 3 defensive players and they canât cross half court. Also, you can only dribble twice before you have to pass or shoot.
Which UofM players would you want on your team? I think that this style of play favors movement shooters and players that can pull up from anywhere (although there were no 3 pointers to my knowledge.)

yeah, i thought it sounded terrible at first, but the point that itâs as open as a 3-on-3 game really opened my eyes
