Wow. Keels and Dawson Garcia and Yung Bickerstaff and Zeigler and Kopp and somebody I’m forgetting (Bryce Williams!!!) … entertaining.
lol top 55 protected. Never heard of such a thing
So JV agent went rouge on both Panathinaikos and the Nuggets?

Olynyk getting to go from coast to coast
Kinda hoping he gets a buyout because I think the nuggets will get horford then and he’s an even better fit
If Horford was an option why didn’t the Nuggets just wait? He’s signing for the minimum right?
NBA Cup Group is set. I liked the Pistons draw in Eastern Conference Group B. They have a chance of winning the group outright IMO. East A and West C looks to be a group of death.
that’s right, East A group of death. No one wants the Hawks
Not sure A is the group of death when the Pacers won’t have Hali or Turner. They won’t be a contending team next year. And then the group has two azz teams. Should just be Hawks vs Cavs.
It wouldn’t shock me if any team besides the Nets won the Pistons group though. That one feels wide open
there’s no East group of death. they all are terrible
This is the correct answer imo. Overall group of death is definitely Rockets, Nuggets, Warriors, Spurs, Blazers.
Thunder and Knicks cake walk IMO
Eh I disagree, the Pacers will still be good even without Hali. You have the Cavs, Hawks, and the Pacers. I think the Raptors are sneaky decent and will be better than last season. The only bad team is the Wizards.

I have no earthly idea: Sixers. There is a clear cut narrative to see for them to occupy any slot here
These tiers feel right. The Sixers probably fall into that 3rd tier which is pretty much the play-in, but if everything goes wrong from them like that year, then they are probably in the 4th tier.
Since you have a big gap between the Cavs and the 2nd tier, would you take the Cavs over the field to come out of the East?
Probably not just because the Magic to me are pretty high variance. The whole idea there is that Suggs is who he was two weeks ago, Franz shoots a little better, and Paolo turns all-nba
This group seems to underperform playoffs now across two coaches, so if the question is “making the finals” vs “1 seed” I’d increment it down
I’d move the Magic down but after the Knicks, you can make an argument for any three of them for their palcement. I’d also move 6-8 up in the tier. Heat is in their own tier at #9 IMO
This conference has five teams that wouldn’t finish bottom two in the west
Ron Holland with 8-11 and 4-5 from 3 today.
