I really like them. Obviously depends on the draw, but I like them as a value Final four pick. They’re very good

Call me crazy but if Unc starts to play smart they could turn this around and make a push. Possibly even when the acc. This is far the worst acc I can remember post merger. Possibly the worst I can remember pre merger. Duke, fl st, and ville are the only good three teams. I even think fl st is slightly overrated. Their good but not top 5 good. Provably not top ten good either. More like 12-17 range.

Than virginia, nc st, cuse, and Nd are all just pretty good. All bubble teams and honestly barely bubble teams.

Then v tech is ok and the rest of the conference is trash. My point is this. If Unc gets it together and Anthony steps up and they work through brooks and bacotijd they should be/ hit the o boards hard and on the big and rolls / rim the rim hard they could go on a win streak.

It’s so weak this year it’s not impossible for them to get hot, play to their potential and win the acc tourney with a little luck and only having to beat one legit team possibly.

No one besides the top three teams can guard Brooks down low or bacot really. Even then duke, st, and ville would have a hard time with those big physical bodies and brooks has nice skill. They could turn it on and possibly make our win look ok.

Man mannion is a straight killer. Usc going on a little run. Gets it down to ten. He casually comes off the on ball screen and catches the defender off guard and pulls up 3 feet behind the the arc off the dribble, all net…

Green then jumps the passing lane for the steal and wide open fast break dunk.

You’re crazy.

As I understand it, he didn’t have the grades to get in and we stopped pursuing him at that point.

You think they are beyond repair? I totally see why, but I’ve watched a bunch of acc games lately and some of these teams are really bad. I know the common response is so is Unc but there is still talent there. I also have this strange feeling their going to pull a rabbit out of their ass and beat duke Saturday. It makes no logical sense but I think they pull the upset.

Haha yeah, every time I have watched them this year they have looked terrible aside from the Oregon game and that was so long ago. Cole is a chucker and they don’t have a lot of talent by UNC standards. Yeah, the ACC is bad this year, but they are losing a ton of games in a bad ACC.

Yeah, I think it’s simply a talent thing with UNC. Pretty well any trip down the floor, they have a player or two out there who just can’t compete at a high enough level to round out a team that can make a push.

Davidson.
UCLA.

Good call on Davidson. They returned everyone from a 24-10 team and already have matched last season’s loss total (11-10). Wonder what happened there.

I’d add Utah State (AP preseason #17) to the mix of most disappointing teams. San Diego State is what USU was supposed to be in the Mountain West…and more.

Texas Tech, among other things, doesn’t have the rim protector they had last year in Tariq Owens. I expect them to be outstanding again next season.

Tyrese Maxey just made a free throw at the end of the game for UK. Commentator: “Maxey pads the numbers.”

That announcer is the hero we need but don’t deserve.

That is great. Have to give Bill Walton credit for his line the other night about a bad USC defensive decision; “Trojans are all about protection, but…”.

Unc lol, wtf. I’ve never seen something like this.

UNC loses cause they can’t rebound a missed FT in both regulation and OT.

Great game, absolutely brutal loss for UNC

Didn’t help them that TV Teddy missed an obvious foul call with 10 seconds left that would’ve put them at the FT line.

I feel they could have pulled a Steratore and stared at the monitor for 5 minutes after the non-foul and gave the ball to UNC
