Love going after Coach K. He makes an important point about socialization and mental health. Really shouldn’t be talking about other kids when they’re easily identifiable.

I like that someone is willing to call out Coach K…even if it is a little silly and childish to do so. Coach K has been immune from scrutiny because he’s a legend. His recruiting practices, his behavior to fans, his willingness to ignore NCAA rules, etc. Incredible career and on-court success…and probably does a ton of good work in the world too. But doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be called out when he deserves it.
Just bad timing on his part as much as anything. Don’t remember him saying anything before the season.

Coach K isn’t even wrong to have concerns over the season. Many of us do, rightfully so.
But for Coach K to have those comments after dropping 2 games, when his comments before the season were completely different, is… pretty classic. Glad someone called him out even if it was Nate Oats.

The most frustrating to me was when Michigan looked to be rebounding post-Fab Five with Blanchard, Gaines, and Crawford before the NCAA came crashing down on Crawford’s living arrangement with a family friend during HS. The result was that it ended Crawford’s career almost before it started. Meanwhile, at the exact same time, Carlos Boozer was living with his AAU coach. When the NCAA tried to step in Coach K obfuscated and they didn’t get penalized at all.

I feel like the G League option is especially fascinating this year with everything happening. Not going to get many games probably but not that they are missing out on much in college.

I think Capel has provided too much evidence that he’s not a great coach.
