One person saying something doesnāt mean it is reality.
Also, Emoni Bates currently has a 91.2 ORtg in the MAC and was shooting 21% from three in MAC games before today.
This year pretty much shows just how talented he is and how far he still needs to go to put it together.
I personally really hope he gets there, weāll see.

Actually, theyāre up five on Toledo, who rarely lose at home. Win would be big for a team that has really struggled.
Iām always rooting for Eastern. My grandfather graduated from there back when it was Ypsi Normal. Went on to run school systems all over the state. I have photos of him in a silly hat picknicing with my grandmother in front of that very phallic tower in the teens of last century, shortly before he went off to France to fight as a volunteer, before the U.S. entered the war. Emoni has 36 now, with ten minutes to go in the game.

Nope ā everyone is tired of this topic, especially of just having one person rehash both sides of it.
Letās just take tonight to admire Emoni going for 36 in a narrow loss (or maybe a win!)

Toledo is a really fun team to find matchups against bad offenses. Vegas always underrates them in my opinionā¦ Theyāve won me a lot of money ever since we played them a couple years back.
