College Basketball 2022-23 Discussion

I do agree Collier + Ellis could be a problem though

How good is Bronny expected to be next year? I have sort of tuned him out at this point. I know there’s a ton of hype about him playing with his Dad and I know he’s pretty good … But what does he actually project to do at USC?

Bronny James is a strong-bodied combo-guard with a well-rounded game. As the eldest son of LeBron James, his every move has been under a magnifying glass since before he played his first high school game. To his credit, that has never stopped him from playing the right way.

In fact, Bronny’s best attribute may be his understanding of how to impact the game without dominating the ball or forcing bad shots. He’s unselfish, a more than willing passer, and engaged defender.

The best part of his individual offense is his ability to shoot the ball from long-range. He has good mechanics and consistently knocks down open rhythm threes.

As a playmaker, we still haven’t seen him develop into much of a half-court creator, but he’s capable of being explosive in transition. He can get downhill with the ball, has the strong frame to absorb contact, and is a good vertical athlete at the rim with mid-air body control to match. He can play both with and without the basketball, but is more naturally suited off the ball at this point.

Overall, Bronny may not always be the spectacular talent that some assume from the namesake of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, but he is a well-rounded two-way player with a mature floor-game.

He’s definitely off the ball guard who can shoot and defend. He’s not going to be the star and demand the ball, but he’s a good connector for the team. Basically a very good role player

if Michigan does not fire Juwan Howard and hire Mark Madsen within 24 months I will move into the woods and live off mushrooms and deer

Madsen is a California guy through and through (birth, HS, college, NBA and now coaching). Not sure he would even come. I guess you’ll need to start gathering what you need to live in the woods.

Should it happen, and Madsen would come, Boutros has done enough work getting him on the radar here.

Cannot imagine a world in which Madsen turns down Michigan to stay at Cal if that’s who they wanted

Is Ted Kazynski’s cabin still for sale? If yes, you might get a good discount from a fellow Wolverine, and you might also make use some of his leftover hardware to send manifestos to coaches from the woods.

Huggins has to be done right? Especially with his past? No way he keeps his job IMO

If Michigan ever hire Mark Madsen I will self-immolate from the shame of having such a dweeb representing the program.
