Not a fan of the portal, but my two best players came from the portal and I wouldn’t be here without them

Did the portal exist when Hauser transferred?? He didn’t get immediately eligibility.

The portal has existed for years, immediate eligibility transfers started with Covid

Nice of him to finally acknowledge his hypocrisy. Not only did he benefit from the two great players he added, he also benefited by having players leave like Loyer, Kithier, and Watts. The only one he probably didn’t want was Marble.

On one hand I feel like it’s hard to fault a guy after he’s given you 12 years at your school. Otoh, he is going to a conference rival.

Yeah that guy’s twitter was sent to me by my source who knows things. Them and @CoachingChanges get some information about this stuff.

October 2018 for the beginning of the transfer portal

Well NOW I get why some people think Cooley’s a good coach! I was mistakenly thinking that you judge the guy on wins, banners or stuff like that. I didn’t think to check Kenpom’s “Most Special” metric.

If Musselman stays at Arkansas for the rest of his career, who goes down as the best Arkansas coach?

  • Eric Musselman
  • Nolan Richardson
