That would be iowa last year.

This game is insane. Heading to 3OT after a buzzer beating 3 by Xavier after they called a flagrant on them. I think this game started at 7

Didn’t know Caris LeVert played for Providence

(for those that didn’t watch it providence guy could’ve fouled up 3 late and instead let Xavier guy dribble up and shoot a 3 for OT)

Syracuse adjusted defense last three years (via Kenpom)

2020: 116th
2021: 77th
2022: 196th

Boeheim is probably way too late into his career to ever move from his whole schtick, but it’s pretty funny that they’ve had top 25 offenses each of those years and the whole thing he’s known for is what’s been bringing them down. They did make the sweet 16 last year. Maybe there’s something to its tournament magic.

I have seen one Providence offensive possession, and I have seen enough

Gotta make the tournament to have success there. Funny enough I think part of the reason the zone sucks is because of his sons who are not the typical long wings they need to make the zone a weapon.

Those two + Girard do not make for a good zone.

Their offense can be really bad sometimes. Could see them getting upset or going deep and wouldn’t be shocked at either

I like this Oregon team.

Surprised their numbers aren’t better. They have a nice line up though imo.

Harmon, Richardson, Young, Williams, Guerrier… i like that. If kepang can start to give them good minutes at the five then they could be in business.

Even fi you started those five originally listed above with Guerrier as a small ball five that can be deadly.

I like Harmon a lot. HUGE shot.

Kerr Kriisa going crazy. 7-of-8 from three in the first half with a half court buzzer beater

Imo they’re the most impressive team I’ve seen all year and by far the best team I saw us stack up against. It turns out we weren’t as good as hoped but it was more than that, legit one seed.

Extremely impressive. Nice size, athletes, great skill, and they play a great brand of team ball.

I haven’t seen much of Notre Dame but they have a great record and they actually have a lot of solid players. DIdn’t realize a lot of these guys were still on the team.

Are they legit or is the ACC terrible?

ACC is absolute dogwater this year

Watching some Notre Dames. I actually like this team. Wesley is the real deal. Decent balance. Nice shooters. Hubb, Goodwin, Ryan. I like it.

Atkinson and Laszewski are both solid inside

Not sure their athletic enough outside of Wesley but they’re interesting.

I gotta watch some games where they struggle though. Only watched a couple condensed games from big wins.

Arkansas has had the biggest 360 turnaround of a season.

First time I have really watched Arkansas. This Lykes guy…are there some similarities to him and Dug as undersized PG? Looks like he has found ways to score throughout his career and is a decent shooter - both despite being perhaps even smaller than Dug. But again, haven’t seen him play more than a few times in his career

From 15 to 54 to 19 on Kenpom. Mt. Arkansas. I’m definitely on the Musselman bandwagon. He was a great hire for a program coming off two decades of mediocrity.

my top two choices post-Beilein were Oats and Musselman
