Big Ten Open Thread: Week of Jan. 28th

The road has a way of doing that, even to the best of teams. Home court in college is a bigger factor vs the NBA. Crowds are much more engaged and college teams don’t generally have a kobe, Durant, lebron to silence a crowd at will.

How do you think the B1G turns out?

We obviously have a leg up considering we’ve already played 5 road games, and really only have 1 road game left where we are going to be a considerable underdog. We have to run the table at home and and win 2 out of 4 on the road to win the conf outright. Bottom line for me is that feb 23 will be for the state championship and the conf title. Lose that game and I think MSU probably wins the conference

Thought we had to win this and Nebraska to have a chance… MSU’s schedule is ridiculously easy.

If we win feb 23 that means we hold the tie breaker, which may prove pivotal when all is said and done.

Appling not playing tonight. Helps w/ a potential upset if Newbill and Frazier show up on the road.
