Awful news

This is indeed horrific and very disturbing news. As members of the B1G family of supporters I would urge all of our members who believe in the power of prayer and who are so inclined to offer up in your prayers the health and the healing of the Moore family and any others who were hurt as a result of this tragic accident. Any news, but especially positive news, would be very much appreciated.

It is with deep sadness that I bring news of Coach Howard Mooreā€™s automobile accident on M14 in Michigan. Howardā€™s wife, Jennifer, and his daughter, Jaidyn were tragically killed in the accident. The extent of the injuries to Coach Moore and his son, Jerrell, were unknown as of about two hours ago.

This is a tragic loss for the Wisconsin Basketball family and for all who love college basketball and the B1G. Coach Moore played at Wisconsin and has been an integral part of Badger Basketball over many years. It has been said that they were one of the finest families in Madison, a family filled with love and the epitome of family values. Former player Jordan Taylor tweeted, ā€œAll the amazing people at Wisconsinā€¦nobody put a smile on your face like Jen and Coach Moore :broken_heart::broken_heart::broken_heart: Prayers up.ā€

Iā€™m praying for healing for the Moore family, and for all who love them. and for healing and recovery for Coach Howard Moore and his son Jerrell.:pray::pray:

EDIT: The latest news is that Coach Moore, while receiving severe burns to his legs in addition to other injuries, and though initially reported to be in critical condition, will recover from his physical injuries. Coach Mooreā€™s son, Jerrell, miraculously only received minor physical injuries as a result of the accident and is expected to fully recover. The emotional trauma of this tragic event will, sadly, live with them forever. Both Coach Moore and his son will need all the love and support that the Wisconsin Basketball family can provide for them at the devastating loss of Jennifer, wife and mother, and Jaidyn, daughter and sister.

As Michigan fans, I hope, I know, we can and WILL support them, too. Coach Moore and Jerell are being treated at our own University of Michigan Hospital. I will continue to pray for Howard and Jerell Moore and for both the Moore and Barnes extended families, and if you are so inclined, I ask that you do, too. Go Blue!!! Go B1G!!! :heartbeat:

Sam is expected to go to UVA. Hereā€™s another article:

Which ones the better/younger one?

Joey is the younger one. Sit one, play two. Could potentially petition for a third year of eligibility I believe.

Why would the Hauser brothers transfer to different destinations?

I thought the reason MSU wasnā€™t considered a destination is because they didnā€™t have a scholarship available. Did this change somehow?

Unfortunately, this sets them up really nicely post-Cassius

Yeah theyā€™re not going away. Especially since Brown, Bingham, and Henry will all only improve at a rate that allows them to be All Americans as seniors.

Hot take: Loyer transfers after this year

MSU didnā€™t have two scholarships available to take both. They did have one scholarship in case they decided to go to different schools, which is what appears to be happening here.

I think Henry will be in the NBA after this season.

If he went to any other school than Izzo Uā€¦

Tyler Cook staying in the draft.

Expected, I know, but between losing Cook, Moss and Bohanan this has not been a good offseason for Iowa.

Didnā€™t even realize heā€™d put his name in. Canā€™t see a market for a plodder like him, let alone as an early entrant.

Isaiah Roby staying in.

Always felt like he was just on the precipice of a major breakout but didnā€™t quite get there for whatever reason. I suppose having James Palmer dominate the ball as much as he did may have played a part in that.
