Leaves a hole at the four for Iowa. Wording makes it sound like he could transfer if he doesn’t declare? Figure we’ll see Ryan Kreiner and Cordell Pemsl splitting time there with Kreiner starting.
Pemsl was stapled to the bench this past year…anyone know why? I’d expect Fran’s youngest, Patrick, who’s 6-9 (but slight at under 200 pounds) to get some run at the four for them next season.
IIRC, he was injured
Pause! Cook himself RTed.
‘We have to work on it’: John Beilein will make isolation offense priority for Michigan
Roby declaring for the draft, but the wording makes it very careful that he is not committed to returning back to Nebraska even if he returns to college.
This is my shocked face.
Good luck to him. The last two Purdue teams have been my favorite Big Ten rivals to watch in quite a few years.
For a time there were a lot of people in Minnesota worried that Pitino was going to be too successful too quick and use Minnesota as a quick stop on his way to a better job. It’s safe to say that they were wrong.
There is a lot of hate for Pitino in Minnesota for some reason. I’ve seen it first hand over and over. He certainly isn’t the best coach in the Big Ten but he’s now paid around the same place as I see him in the league (9th).
Good for him to get feedback on his game but I think his deficiencies are pretty well known (can’t shoot, not a strong dribbler, is a volume chucker). He won’t get a combine invite and will be back in State College for 2019-20.
They’re all signing with agents. That’s allowed now. But it does sound like he and Charles are not really considering coming back, which is fine.
