Picked a heckuva photo to accompany the story.
Yep, he doesnāt have his usual angry face!
I would say both are gone for good. Fernando for sure. As for Cowan Iām not sure how much better he can get over the next year. Seems like next year would be a rinse and repeat of the last two years. Heās a very good player but not a ton of upside.
Weirdest thing with Cowen. I kept expecting a ālight is onā moment for him this year, for lack of a better term, but he was always around very good but never āholy sh*t!ā
Felt the same way with Melo Trimble. Never really took the next step as a player. Doesnāt speak well to Turgeon and his rep (or lack thereof) for developing players.
Wow I didnāt expect that. I assumed that he would at least test the waters. His NBA stock is higher than our guys. Illinois should be pretty good next year.
Glad to hear that re: Ayo, as I love to watch him play.
What Kyle says there is true but Iād be shocked if Ward returned to MSU at this point.
Frankly, I love this. I sincerely hope everything works out well for this outstanding young man. I truly hope he has a terrific senior year EXCEPT when he plays the good guys in the Maize 'N Blue from AA!
Cash vs. X is now a trilogy. Gotta love it
Wow. Not even entering his nameā¦ MSU is going to be very, very good (again) next year.
Of course he isnāt entering name.
Preseason favorites.
I hope they are. They always seem to struggle with high expectations.
Izzo to Cassius: You have unfinished business in East Lansing.
Izzo to Ward: Your business here is finished.
