Strange exchange: one of the Penn State players asked Purdue’s Evan Boudreaux, who’d just come into the game as a reserve, why he was already sweating so much. Boudreaux explained that he wasn’t sweating, that it was the Bengay and Aspercreme that he uses to treat arthritis that he’s been suffering from since his middle forties that had created the slick.

Purdue would stay Q1 (current NET of 11) but PSU could move into Q2 status (and Q1 if Michigan wins in Happy Valley) with their current NET of 84.

Clock started early. 5.2 seconds when official handed the ball to #23 and about 4.6 when Bolton caught it. Penn State getting screwed by the officials with 13.3 left and then by their own clock operator on the last inbound.
