Big Ten Basketball 2021-22 Discussion

I don’t disagree with Ant. They can play any way you want. You’re facing 40 minutes of Williams and Edey on a given night. There isn’t a team equipped to face that.

Obviously Purdue goes on a massive run as soon as I post about them

No depth at all for Nova taking it’s toll. Missing shots they were making early. Legs?

They hit EIGHT shots in a row!!!

Except Michigan

Wow, with all their returning talent Purdue adds a terrific young talent in Caleb Furst.

Another sore point for Nova, their FT shooting has been poor. 6-13?

WOW! That’s TEN IN A ROW!

Wow, came into the tourn shooting nearly 90% from the line but only 9-17 today.

It’s early but Purdue clearly seems like the crop of the B1G so far

That Edey play was a pretty phenomenal travel lol

I could make a case Purdue is a top 2 team in the country. I think they’re better than Kansas and I would take Purdue on a neutral court against Gonzaga.

When you’'re 7’4 you can cover 12 feet in one pivot and step!:thinking:

Purdue has the same early-season edge that Michigan has had the last 2 years: bring back a lot of experience and minutes from a good team and use that to overpower other newly-gelling teams early. Purdue is still young but isn’t relying heavily on a single new contributor.

I still give Michigan the higher ceiling but the floor is also already a little lower than I anticipated

I didn’t realize that the Maui Invitational was being held in Vegas. Texas A&M running Wisconsin out of the gym early on.

Brad Davison just made a tough, contested layup. The world is surely about to end.

The big ten might be absolutely horrible (besides Purdue)

A&M currently exorcising the demons from Michigan’s 2018 Sweet Sixteen three-point barrage by doing the same to Wisconsin. 7/10 with 8:00 left in the first half.
