VJ is the truth. It’s early but I never understood why every one preferred Harper to him.

I think Harper will be good and think that is a chance he’s better than VJ when all is done, but it’s not happening this year, likely
but Harper has been the 2nd best rookie in the first four games probably
Not having Caris and Ivey healthy has hampered Cade because they’re blitzing him whenever any chance the defense can get. The Cavs just dominated them last night. It is what it is. Chalk it up and move on.
Random impressions from what I have seen this year:
- Wemby is the best player now
- Cooper Flagg will be good but this role is strangling him - he cannot at this point in his career be a teams primary ball handler, it is very obviously not working.This is a good team with a real PG, wish they had gotten one.
- I’m not pressing alarm on the Magic because I have a hard time believing they became a terrible defense but it’s nasty so far.
- I’m not ready to see Austin Reaves score 45 efficiently for a team struggling to crack 100 points. I haven’t watched them but yuck.

Not having a SG option for Detroit right now is a huge limitation. Having either of those two would be a boost. Even having Sasser would be a boost short term until one of them is healthy, but he’s out too.
Hardaway is off to a great start with the nuggets, seems like every time his career seems dead he has a bounce back year

They don’t have a backup PG and starting SG, and it’s hampering the Pistons at times.
That’s why I never understood Pistons fan’s thinking that Ausar is the SG of the future. Ausar is a 4 on offense but can guard 1-4. Ausar’s ballhandling isn’t good enough to be a guard, but he’s a great connector.

Wemby’s floor seems to be 25-28 ppg, but he is so good and skilled that he finds way to score points from anywhere. He could very well win the MVP, MIP, and DPOY this season.
If they give Wemby MIP I’m am going to cause a riot

Makes the Christian Braun extension look even more insane, you don’t get the defense but Hardaway and like 20 other guys could provide average shooting guard play next to Joker and Murray.
Hardaway closed the game last night because he was just banging the wide open 3s that any Denver SG gets
