So Tillman was really impressive last night. We know he has the feet to switch really well, which he did onto Lebron quite well, but he did a great job pushing Davis 8-10 feet out, and into those longer range twos.
He also did a good job taking advantage of smaller (Vanderbilt) or poor (sigh, Lebron at this point) defenders because the Lakers made the decision to glue Davis to Jackson who spent a ton of time beyond the arc
Also, lol Jon Konchar absolutely snuffing Davis TWICE
Also @quickdarshan - the Bucks have actually been a pretty good team without Giannis over the years. Not a title contender, but I think this team is probably a mid-seed playoff team (4-6?) when he sits. They still have three close to all star caliber players (Holliday, Middleton, Lopez) and a bunch of good solid pros (Portis, Ingles, Matthews, Connaughton, Carter, Crowder (I will not acknowledge Grayson Allen))
Mitchell has played pretty badly, a lot worse than the regular season. Killing the Cavs with turnovers (5 in first half today). And he can’t guard Brunson so Knicks keep trying to get that switch.
Happy Caris bounced back from the first half of game 3. Playing solidly today.
Knicks appear to be the tougher, smarter, better team
Levert is the only guy at that spot the Knicks are even considering guarding
Okoro and Osman are just getting ignored
It’s hard to overstate how big a problem the three is, the Knicks are putting Brunson on whoever it is which frees them to use Hart and Barrett on the Cavs’ two guards. It’s not going the other way - They can’t hide Garland on anyone so he’s heads up on Brunson
