Turns out he’s pretty good
Seemed like there wasn’t the same focus on zone and mixing up defense this game for Spo? Went to that hard trap from man instead for the most part and that just wasn’t quite as difficult to crack.
Also, think Malone narrowly got away with one keeping Jokic in too long. Think he was fairly evidently gassed as of, say, 10 min? 8 min? left in the 4th. Was giving up OREBs to Bam and not really creating on O. Think a little more shot luck for the Heat would’ve left the Nuggets in a tough spot.

Oh yeah, I’d agree that Embiid is the best fake tough guy now. Griffin hardly plays anymore. CP3 has been fake tough guy for years now, but slowing down with age. Additional current players, I think I would add Kevin Durant, and Maybe even Devin Booker.

Murray is fascinating, top 50ish(maybe top 100) player in the regular season but probably a top 10 playoff player.

Malone played very physical but I don’t recall if he was tough or just a big mouth bully.
He loved flexing his muscles but the only time i can recall him really using them was on his cheapshot elbowing of Isiah.
I kind of liked him up until then.
I found out out several years ago that he impregnated a 13 year old (or she was 12 and 13 when she had the baby) when he was 20 . The baby boy wound up playing in the NFL. I think that may have been when the story came out.
I think he’s still celebrated in Utah.

Wow…I have never heard that story before. I never really liked the guy, but didn’t know about that awful story.
There are awful stories about Kobe, Magic, Tiger, etc. All that money at such a young age is difficult to handle. People make [regrettable] mistakes, especially young rich ones.
Put it this way. Some mistakes are more regrettable than others.
