We definitely broke that magic trick. And you knew it was coming. Coach B must have salivated before that matchup.
But I think he was a good motivator for a pack of hungry dogs, but year in year out, he’s been exposed as a terrible coach.

All the coaches left in our region combined have one Elite 8 appearance in their coaching careers…Leonard Hamilton’s loss to Michigan.
He definitely turned out to be a one-trick pony. Beat their press and it’s lights out. Now that they don’t even press much, well…
Was hoping Texas didn’t hit that final three so that Abilene could have won with zero players in double figures.
We’re at 7:10 on CBS at Lucas Oil Stadium Monday night.
No surprise Michigan is the biggest tv draw in this thing, should get prime slots the rest of the way
Football field likely with lousy shooting background. Not sure that helps LSU, though.
Looking forward to the first two games tomorrow, the match-ups and the announcers!
Loyala Chicago vs Illinois (Nantz/Raftery/Wolfson);
Wisconsin vs Baylor (Harlon/Bonner/Jacobsen)
Yes! Prime time!
If it had been during the workday that would have been rough.
I’m rooting for Loyola to beat Illini. They’re vastly underseeded. They might have a shot at beat Illini but we’ll see
At least we’re familiar with the place.
Yikes. I’m now even more thankful that MSU found an exciting way to gack up that First Four game two days ago (but feels more like a week ago). Their smug fans would be even smuggier. (“More Smug” would probably be the proper usage, but “smuggier” describes State fans more appropriately.)
“Smuggier,” hmm?
I’ll allow it.
Because everyone remembers Laettner and not the 500 other times it fails
Vastly underseeded for sure, but also matchup very poorly. Fingers crossed they can overcome Kofi.
To be fair, I couldn’t have been the only guy yelling “guard the inbounds pass!” at the TV when I saw ACU’s defense. The guy nearest the ball couldn’t make up his mind what he was defending.
I might try that four verts thing.
Monday at 7:10p!!!
Just heartbreaking stuff for VCU. I remember reading about Bones’ incredible story when we were recruiting him two years ago. He’s come a long way into becoming a legitimate NBA prospect now, and may not have the chance to play in the tourney.
