Yup, not sure if the shockers were even ranked #1 that year. Zags carried that all year this year and probably in '17 for a stretch too.

I just think he’ll be able to defend enough and shoot enough to catch

He’s not in the same stratosphere as Suggs as a prospect though. Ayayi basically gets to just run in transition and drive off of kick outs and is just an okay shooter based on his volume.

Yeah Suggs is elite. Pistons chose a good year to suck.

Frustrating as heck that they missed those 3 in a row at the line. And now 1 of 2

Raftery and Hill are really pulling a Bardo here. Every Zag basket is a “big play.”

Wichita’s undefeated season was '14 when they lost to 8-seed Kentucky in the second round. Someone else lost to them later that month, too. :sob:

Yeah Suggs has higher upside definitely. I just think that aside from Steph (he’s not Steph) you don’t see that many guards his size leading title contenders as the #1 guy…and he will be drafted to be the #1 guy. He just seems to have a lot of gunner in him too - he just screams Zach Lavine to me.

I’d take Cade 100 times out of 100.

Pretty sure Suggs is 6’5

These two teams were supposed to play in December but it was cancelled. That game may have changed the whole narrative of the season. Baylor (assuming they won) would be the #1 team from there on out and the huge favorite in March. The Zags would be the underdogs tonight.

Listed at 6’4”

Ahh, 247 had him at 6’5 I think so that’s probably why I thought that.

This is the type of loss that almost invalidates all the talk about this team’s season.

I mean, who knows

Suggs is bigger and way more athletic than Curry. Not sure they really belong in the same category.

An inch, I think?

Just saying guys that size generally don’t drive winning as much, not comparing skill set.

Kispert’s laser 3s are so strange

This is done. You guys have me all into this, so do we still win the Big Ten kenpom title?

This Baylor team is just a pack of wild dogs. They’ve torn the zags apart.

Can’t help but think Dickinson especially Davis would get exposed by Baylor guards especially if they go all guard lineup with Vital as a big.

As a Pistons fan I’ll take a franchise PG like Suggs any day but yeah, Cade is a no brainer if you have a shot. Cade is on a different planet of talent.
