Either goes one way or the other. That 3 didn’t help Alabama at all vs. UCLA and figured it would have carried over momentum.

After watching Gonzaga it’d be hard to say Michigan fully healthy with Livers wouldn’t have beaten them

I don’t know how you handle that emotional mood roller coaster as a coach on the sideline. Mark Few shrugs and goes to hug Cronin. I mean that always blows me away how stoic coaches are in the midst of complete chaos!

I always thought we absolutely had a good chance. Even without Livers, but especially with him.

Much respect to UCLA. A helluva tourney run as an 11 seed. They had some March magic with them, and rode it to the Final Four. I thought Juzang was making them a team of destiny until a banked in three at the buzzer in OT to lose.
Gonzaga vs Baylor on Monday night should be fun! I think I like Baylor, but it should be a close game. I can’t wait until the tournament is over so I can stop the ‘what if?’ game thinking about Michigan in this spot.

Late reply, but FWIW, I care about the KenPom title not so much for its own sake, but because I didn’t need to listen to Illinois fans whine about it for the next ten years. Obviously, I’d rather Michigan were still playing, but…

All I can say here, is I’m a full Baylor fan to the end. Always loved what they are, but it’s time to bring Gonzaga down. They can’t have a perfect season while playing in a bs league and be called the best team of all time. Baylor needs to show the world that.
I’m very happy that it came to that. It’s all that we’ve been waiting for this season. Especially after the first meeting being canceled due to covid

Then again, it means we’d never have to hear about the ‘76 Indiana team again. That might be a worthwhile trade-off. And you can assign a COIVD asterisk and it becomes the best of both worlds.

Gonzaga doesn’t do anything special defensively, but I don’t see how our starting backcourt could hang with either Baylor or Gonzaga’s guards.

I mean, this is why I love CBB so much. Endure a lot of mediocre and garbage games and get treated to a classic. Michigan will be in the mix going forward
