I mean it’s just a pointless argument. They can only play the schedule they had, and they even tried to play Baylor. Saying “they’re not undefeated enough” is just lame. Any fan base would be doing the same in their position as far as being defensive.
Why wouldn’t you want this UCLA to win? All that crying about Juwan winning the award yesterday would make this so hilarious.
It’s two different arguments, but they get so offended when anyone says the WCC is not a good conference and contributes to their undefeated record. You can be the best team in the country while also admitting that you probably wouldn’t be undefeated if you grinded through a tough conference with top 50 games every night.
‘b-B-but they’re taking bad shots, surely they can’t keep it up’
this is literally all UCLA does lol They’re going to keep going.
I mean that’s true. But any undefeated team is improbable. You can’t say they definitely wouldn’t either.
It’s all just message board discussion anyways, but even if we acknowledge them as the undefeated team they deserve to be acknowledged as, there’s no doubt the overall road to undefeated is much different given that no one can challenge them once they get into conference play.
I’m sure anyone would be defensive, but they’re being discussed among the all-time great teams - they probably are, but given the competition they have to face the majority of the season, it’s not really unreasonable to bring it up.
It’s not like the 2015 SEC was any good, but Kentucky still had to go through teams with a pulse most nights.
Bruins hanging in there pretty good.
It’s much easier to influence the pace & feel of a game by “slowing it down” than by “speeding it up”. This is basically Cronin-ball to a T. The presence of elite scorers in Juzang and Jaquez is what’s taking Mick’s coaching to the next level.
UCLA with another blatant hook and hold.
Still blows my mind they didn’t even consider looking at that. Looked like a textbook example. Surprised Juwan didn’t get T’d up for that, but they never showed how the bench reacted.
This could be the game if Zags get 8 pt lead.
Called it one game too late.
Feel shortchanged with the lack of Hep Cronin reaction shots
Did you see the one of him itching his nose? Riveting stuff.
Mick even said in the pregame, their plan is to keep the game close at under 10, then make the push. Here we are, 3-point game with 9:30 left…
If I never see Johnny Juzang make another midrange J I’ll die a happy man.
THUNDER DAN Kispert
Johnny Juzang is the best player in the country apparently
I actually like seeing him do it against other teams, as opposed to just playing over his head against us.
It’s the Duane Washingtons that turn into pumpkins against everyone else that irritate me.
Jonathan Juicy Juzang
